Official Rules
Registered anglers receive the complete event instructions and rules directly before the event.
Schedule
- — Check-in 5:00–7:00 AM at the main park entrance.
- — No holes may be drilled before 7:00 AM.
- — Fishing and catch submissions close at 3:00 PM.
- — Awards at 4:00 PM in the boat ramp parking lot.
Catch & submission
- — Fish are measured by length on the official event-issued bump board.
- — Catches are photographed/recorded per event instructions and submitted through the live event app.
- — Fish must be released immediately.
- — Anglers may submit up to the legal limit for each species.
Competition integrity
- — Judges on snowmobiles patrol the ice throughout the event.
- — Judges carry underwater cameras and may conduct random checks of fishing holes.
- — Decisions made by field judges are final.
Ice safety
- — Unsafe areas are closed with cones and flagging tape.
- — An updated closure map is provided at check-in, texted and emailed to participants.
- — All anglers must remain outside closed areas.
Prizes
- — Listed prize values are available with attendance of 400 or more anglers.
- — All listed places pay cash.
